How Odds Change While the Match Is On
In in-play betting, odds change with every moment of the match.
The biggest feature of live betting is that you can place bets even after the match has started. In cricket, a wicket falling, a six off a big ball, or a change in run rate at the end of an over — all of these have an immediate effect on the odds.
Say Team A has lost 2 wickets in the first 5 overs. Their odds of winning will drop at that point, because the pressure is building. At the same time, Team B's odds of winning rise. In in-play betting, decisions need to be made quickly at moments like these.

In a Multi Bet Odds Multiply — but So Does the Risk

Selection 1: Decimal odds 1.40
Selection 2: Decimal odds 1.60

On a ৳100 bet, if all three selections are correct you get back ৳403. If even one is wrong, you lose the full ৳100.
Cricket and football matches can be mixed in a multi bet. For example, it is possible to build a multi bet with three selections across three separate matches on the same day. This is popular from an entertainment angle, but remember — more selections means a lower chance of winning.
Back and lay bet calculations work slightly differently in a betting exchange. If you BACK Team A at decimal odds of 1.80 with a ৳1,000 stake and Team A wins, your profit is ৳800 (before commission). If you LAY Team A, your liability is ৳800 — if Team A does not win you receive ৳1,000 (before commission), but if they win you pay ৳800.
